Road Safety Walk

On Thursday 26th February our whole school is going to Aotea Lagoon for a picnic. The older children can choose to bike, but we are walking there with our big whanau buddies.  We practised walking safely around our neighbourhood.

We set off with our class buddies.

Stop, look and listen at the school driveway.

We walked safely around the cul de sac, 

looking out for the van parked in the driveway.  

Ready to cross the road.

Look up the road.

Look down the road.

Now we can cross safely.

We know we can walk safely to our 

School Picnic on Thursday.
