Maori Language Week 

Monday 27 July - Sunday 2 August,2015

The kaupapa for Te Wiki o te Reo Māori 2015 is 

‘Whāngaihia te reo Māori ki ngā mātua.’

The aim is to encourage and support the 
language development of parents who can 
then whāngai (nuture and support) 
the language to their children.

 The new word this week: e te tau, darling.

Sample sentence:

Haramai, e te tau!

Come here, my darling!

This week we have been reading books about Greedy Cat.

Yesterday we decided to paint him!
