Our Inquiry topic this term is... 
Minibeasts
Today we talked about being Entomologists 
(bug scientists).
We will be going outside to look at bugs and find bugs. Before we start to look for bugs we need to know about how to be safe when outside and how to look after the bugs we see.
We are going to write a tikanga matatika (code of conduct)
We need to think about the values of
Kaitakitanga (guardianship), manaakitanga (kindness) and mauri (respect for all living things)

Today we brainstormed our first ideas........

Managing Our Own Time...

We love Friday mornings.
MOOT is a ninety minute, activity based programme. The children have a chance to take control of their own learning through planned, structured, ‘hands on’ activities and experiences.

We had a great day at Capital E National Arts Festival. 
We had a bus ride, we saw three wonderful shows and had our lunch on the Wellington waterfront. Thank you to all the Parents who came and helped us.
