We are Entomologists
(INSECT scientists)

This week we having been learning about Bees.
Today we did an activity to learn about pollination.
We made bees and used paper cups and glitter for the flowers and pollen. Our bees buzzed in and out of the flowers. At the end we noticed the bees legs were covered in glitter (pollen).
We found out  bees are important because they help move the pollen from flower to flower which helps make seeds that grow into the fruit and vegetables we eat.
The bees also take nectar and pollen back to the hive to feed the baby bees and make honey.

The bees took the pollen from flower to flower.
