Fractions Fun

Today we began learning about fractions! So far this is what we know:

  Fractions are equal parts of a whole or set.

  At the end of the session, we could, cut a pizza shape into equal parts!” 

  We found out two equal parts is a half and four equal parts is a quarter then we made a ‘pretend’ pizza to share with our friends or family.

Tessa cut her pizza into four pieces or quarters
and she is going to share it with
Mummy, Daddy and Maddy
